Have you been curious about what it takes to start a bee hive? Do you want to protect the planet and your health by caring for bees and using honey in the best way?

Come to Bailey's Bees Tour and Talk. Here you will get to know the precious bee babies. Learn the role of the Queen Bee and how the colony works with her. Discover the life cycle, roles and types of bees and flowers that produce the quality and flavours of honey.

Learn what you need and how to set up your own Bee Hives, the extraction equipment and safety procedures when working with bees.

Watch demonstrations on

• How to tell pure raw honey from the fake stuff found in supermarkets. 
• How to process a frame and turn it into flowing honey. 
• How to make a wax wrap

You will also have to opportunity to purchase additional honey, lip balm. furniture polish and candles all made onsite.
