Have you been wanting to learn the art of canning but find it hard to get to a workshop?

This is the event you've been waiting for!

Learn the tricks and techniques to preserving food. 

In this two hour workshop, Atta will guide you through the steps for veggie, meat and fruit canning. Ask all the questions, see the demonstration, go through the processes with her so you can be confident to preserve food at your leisure. 

We use the water bath technique which is easy, cost effective and uses minimal equipment. No pressure cooker needed. Just a large pot, tongs, cotton tea towel, jars with good lids and your vegetables, fruit or meat as desired. Plus knife and chopping board to prepare the food items.

About Atta

 Atta is a mum of 3 boys. She was a teacher and loved working in special needs schools until 2021 when her career came to an abrupt end. Growing up in Poland with her family, canning was a normal part of life. With only a small fridge to keep milk and butter in, everything else had to be ‘Canned’ to preserve food through the winter. Atta uses the water bath technique for all her canning options.
