About the event
Meet Atta. Atta is a mum of 3 boys. She was a teacher and loved working in schools until 2021 when her career came to an abrupt end. Growing up in Poland with her family, canning was a normal part of life. With only a small fridge to keep milk and butter in, everything else had to be ‘Canned’ to preserve food through the winter.Â
In this workshop, you will learn the simple process of canning or ‘Jarring’ as Atta was taught in her homeland.Â
You will take home your own jar of vegetables that can be stored for years and used as a salad or in cooking. Just like you if you opened a can of beetroot or peas. This class is very sort after so please only book if you know you can attend.Â
Everything is provided including the jars, lunch, snacks, drinks and great company!Â
You will have the best fun learning about how to preserve food for the long term.Â
